"The most important reason for accredited schools moving into a sixth year maintenance review is failure to meet the AACSB standard for academically qualified (AQ) faculty. This is also the most important reason for falling short in the initial accreditation process."
– Angelo S. DeNisi, Dean
Albert Harry Cohen Chair
in Business Administration
"Most applicants prefer sponsorship by an academic or corporate institution because it guarantees placement after graduation. Some applicants prefer to be free agents because it offers more degrees of freedom upon graduation. We welcome both sponsored and free agent applications."
– Victor J. Cook, Jr., Faculty Director
Freeman Professor of Doctoral Studies and Research

The Tulane University Postdoctoral Bridge to Business AQ Faculty Program, New Orleans Louisiana
Tulane offers PhD degree holders in the arts and sciences from around the world, with research and teaching experience, a two-week series of seminars in New Orleans in June 2010. These seminars qualify participants to conduct research as well as teach core and elective courses in management and marketing. You will find we can deliver a package that allows us to meet your AQ faculty needs whether your school is in Berlin or Boston, Shanghai or Seattle, Cape Town or Chicago.
The graduates of Tulane's program receive certification from the AACSB as academically qualified (AQ) in marketing and management for a period of five years. As lagniappe ("something extra"), participants also enjoy a Mississippi River tour on the Steamboat Natchez, Sunday Brunch at Commander's Palace and a graduation dinner at Antoine's Restaurant in the French Quarter. The $25,000 USD tuition covers all expenses except airfare.
